The Hangar 17 name is inspired by the rich aviation history of the Finger Lakes. Glenn Curtiss was a total aviation badass and Finger Lakes' local hero. We liked his contributions to motorcycles and aviation so much we named a gold medal-winning wine after him. The actual Hangar 17 is the home of Point of the Bluff Vineyards' Cessna 208 Caravan Seaplane, which flies over Keuka Lake and the rest of the Finger Lakes wine region of New York. Our philosophy is one of "have wine, will travel". Hangar 17 wine was created for everyone to enjoy. You don't have to be a wine snob to have good wine or a craft beer enthusiast to enjoy an amazing alcoholic beverage in a can! You can have it all folks and we are here for it.
The Finger Lakes' unique beauty and fantastic ability to grow delicious wines makes it the perfect place to create such a gem! Hangar 17 Cans on boats. Hangar 17 Cans on hikes. Hangar 17 Cans in the backyard enjoying a warm summer night. However you choose to enjoy being in one of the most beautiful locations on Earth, make sure you are doing it with a great can of wine.
Hangar 17 is committed to modern and sustainable techniques and packaging through the use of 20L Kegs, and 375ml Cans. Keeping this planet healthy and beautiful is important to us so we can keep day drinking and advernturing for a long time to come. Please Recycle!
